MATA Scholarship Information

The Minnesota Athletic Trainer’s Association (MATA) is proud to announce two (2) undergraduate scholarship opportunities for the 2009-2010 school year.

Swede-O, Inc. $500.00 Scholarship: Swede-O continues its long time tradition as a major supporter towards the scholarship program. “On behalf of the MATA we want to thank Swede-O for their continued support and friendship towards our state association and the profession of athletic training.” – MATA President, Chris “Gorby” Gebeck.

The MATA $500.00 Scholarship: The MATA is pleased to be able to sponsor this scholarship. The MATA acknowledges there are many outstanding athletic training students who are deserving of this award as they are the
future of our profession.

For both the Swede-O, Inc and MATA Scholarships qualified candidates should demonstrate leadership, a desire to be active in the athletic training profession and actively involved in their community and have achieved academic success.

Applications for scholarships can be found on-line (www.mnata.com/students/swedoscholarship.pdf). Forms are in pdf format.

Application deadline: Postmarked by April 4, 2009.
