The University of Glasgow is pleased to offer David Livingstone MSc Infection Biology Full Fee Waiver Scholarships for International applicants. This scholarship is open to international students applying to the MSc Infection Biology within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow.

The University of Glasgow is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s four ancient universities.

If English is not student’s first language, they will be required to provide a language test before they can start their studies.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

This scholarship is open to international students applying to the MSc Infection Biology within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their application for admission and must:

  • demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 Hons or better

Nationality: International applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.

English Language Requirement: If English is not the first language, students will be required to provide a language test before they can start their studies.

How to Apply: Applicants must write a 400 personal statement (approx) and email this to mrio-scholarships-at-glasgow.ac.uk

The personal statement should detail

  • why you have selected the programme at the University of Glasgow
  • why you merit the funded place (e.g. academic/personal achievement)
  • how you will benefit from it (e.g. employment prospects, financial relief, etc)
  • Your personal statement should be around 400 words and include your full name and applicant number.

Application Deadline: Applicants who have received an offer of admission by 1 March will automatically be assessed, those candidates who have been nominated for the scholarship will be emailed requesting a personal statement and scholarship decisions will be made by 16 March.
