Pride Legacy Scholarship Announcement
We are proud to announce the first ever LGBTIQ targeted scholarship in the UH system!
Pride Legacy Scholarship has been realized by generous donations from the community, Outspoken Hawaii, UH Hilo Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, “Though Our Eyes” art auction, and Pride Hilo members. It is available to University of Hawaii at Hilo students who fit the following criteria.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Recipients must be enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at UH Hilo and be an active member of Pride Hilo, a UH Hilo/HawCC Registered Independent Student Organization.
2. Undergraduate students must demonstate academic merit with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and completed a minimum of 24 credit hours.
3. Graduate students may apply at any time.
4. Some degree of financial need, not necessarily as determined by federal guidelines.
