University of Newcastle International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (UNIPRS)
University of Newcastle International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (UNIPRS) are funded by the University. The scholarship provides an exemption for tuition fees, a Faculty-funded living allowance ($20,007 p.a. in 2008), and the payment of Overseas Students Health Cover.
Duration: three years for a PhD degree and two years for a Master’s degree.
Application is open to students from all countries with the exception of Australian and New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents.
Applicants must provide evidence of English proficiency. For details on acceptable forms of evidence, please refer to the English Language Proficiency Policy available at http://www.newcastle.edu.au/policylibrary/000104.html
Applications close on 31 August each year.
