In honour of its long-time employee Donna Trenholm who retired in 2005, the Faculty of Humanities has established a scholarship fund to assist members of the University of Victoria CUPE 951 support staff pursue a degree in the Faculty of Humanities.
Applications are due in the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities annually by June 30 with the announcement of the winner of the scholarship made by July 15. Letters of application, which may be addressed to Andrew Rippin, Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Clearihue C 305, should provide a brief explanation of the student’s intended program and course registration in the year the scholarship would be held, and include a copy of the applicant’s (unofficial) transcript.
