A PhD position is available for a research project focusing on characterizing the immune response to a virus and its possible involvement in the development of rheumatoid arthritis. The objectives of the project are to determine the antigen specificity of human antibodies to the virus and to investigate the capacity of viral glycoproteins to induce an auto-immune response by antigenic mimicry. The work comprises investigations in cell culture systems and in mouse models. More details will be provided upon inquiry.Send CV and addresses of two references to:
