The University of Strathclyde is inviting applications for Pakistan 50th Anniversary Fund for postgraduate taught programme. Pakistani applicants are eligible to apply.
The aim of the scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from Pakistan.
The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow’s second-oldest university, with the university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK’s first technological university.
Candidates must have already qualified for their degree at the time of application and obtained a First Class Degree or equivalent.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for postgraduate taught programme.
Study Subject: Awards will be for one-year taught postgraduate courses. Priority will be given to subjects in the areas of engineering, science, technology and business management or any other subject which cannot be pursued adequately in Pakistan.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship will meet the full costs of the candidate’s study in Scotland, including travel to Glasgow and return home, maintenance and other allowances. No additional allowances will be paid for a spouse or other dependants.
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
- Candidates are unable to pay to study in the UK. Sufficient evidence of financial need as indicated below must be provided.
- Candidates must have already qualified for their degree at the time of application and obtained a First Class Degree or equivalent. They must be available to commence their academic studies by the start of the UK academic year in September 2017.
- Candidates must be sufficiently fluent in written and oral English to pursue their studies immediately.
- Candidates must be nationals of Pakistan, be permanently resident in Pakistan and living there at the time of application
Nationality: Pakistani applicants are eligible to apply.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Candidates must have already qualified for their degree at the time of application and obtained a First Class Degree or equivalent.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
How to Apply: Applicants must submit the required details of family income and supporting documents. Applications without supporting documents will not be processed. Send completed applications by email (preferably PDF) to pakistan-scholarship-at-strath.ac.uk. Candidates must also apply for acceptance on a postgraduate course at the University. Candidates who have not made an application for a postgraduate course will not be considered for the scholarship.
