July 24, 2007An opening is available at the Basic Life Science Research Associate level or at the Postdoctoral level in the laboratory of Greer Murphy, M.D., Ph.D. at Stanford University School of Medicine to conduct research on Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The laboratory focuses on the biology of microglial cells and their interactions with neurons during inflammation in the brain in AD. A particular interest is on signal transduction pathways involved in glial cell activation. A second focus of the laboratory is on global gene expression profiling in the brain in mice modeling AD.
