Applications are invited for UTokyo-TOYOTA Study Abroad Scholarships for the study and research in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Japanese students are eligible to apply or this scholarship programme.
Aimed at strengthening human resource development in the field of artificial intelligence, excellent graduate students who are engaged in advanced research on excellent undergraduate students, artificial intelligence or applications that tackle the latest theories and techniques in the field, study abroad. A scholarship that pays donations from Toyota Motor Corporation as resources.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:
- Students must be enrolled at the University of Tokyo as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Students who study abroad to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, etc. to study or research in the field of artificial intelligence.
- Study abroad which commences in FY 2017.
Nationality: Japanese students are eligible to apply or this scholarship programme.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English language Requirements: Copy of language proficiency test score report for the main language that will be used during your study abroad Examples: English: TOEFL iBT or IELTS (Academic Modules). For other languages which have proficiency tests: copy of test score. * Copy of scores available online may be submitted * For students whose native language is the same as the language used at the location of the study abroad program, proof of proficiency will not be required.
