I joined the B C S (Audit & Accounts) Cadre as Assistant Accountant General in 1995. Since then I have been working in different Organizations like Bangladesh Railway Finance & Accounts Department, Works Audit Directorate, Military Accounts and Civil Accounts Department at different capacities with the utmost sincerity and integrity. My length of service is more than13 years. Presently, I am working as Chief Accounts Officer of Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat.

I have a Masters degree with honours. Main subjects studied are Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc. During my probation period (2 years) at Financial Management Academy (FIMA), Dhaka, I had to complete 4 month long Foundation Training, 9 month long Departmental Training, IT training and on the Job Training to different organizations successfully. I, Mr. Ganesh Piratheesh, am an Instructor attached to the Department of Chemistry, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. I followed a four-year Chemistry special degree course in English medium at the University of Jaffna and was graduated with BSc specialation in Chemistry waitng the the final result. The Sri Lankan University Educational system is based on the Education system in U.K Universities and our BSc (Hons.) degree is equivalent to the MChem degree in U.K. Our advanced degree Chemistry examination question papers (i.e Fourth year Chemistry question papers) are sent for moderation to the University of Liverpool in U.K(The answer scripts of the Chemistry special degree students are also sent for second-marking to the University of Liverpool in U.K Organic Chemistry-Professor S. M. Roberts, Inorganic Chemistry-Professor B. T. Heaton and Physical Chemistry-Dr Hodgson). Many students from the University of Jaffna have already finished their PhD successfully in U.K Universities in the past and at present many are following the same.

Currently I’m working as an Instructor (on contract) in the Department of Chemistry, University of Jaffna. In this capacity I am conducting tutorial classes to undergraduate students in English medium. I am also demonstrating Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry practical classes for undergraduate students.

I need to do a postgraduate degree to apply to confirm my permanent lecturer post. I am interested in doing my postgraduate degree in Chemistry related field. Since my graduation, I have been looking for valuable opportunities in this field I wish to develop my career in that direction under your supervision.
