Vaino Tanner Foundation is seeking applicants for is the Writer and Artist Residence Scholarships programme. These scholarships are exclusively open for Estonian students.

The aim of the scholarships is to enable and encourage talented students to reach international programs.

Väinö Tanner Foundation is an independent private Finnish Foundation which has supported Finnish and Estonian art and literature by providing residences for Finnish and Estonian artists, artisans, writers, poets and translators for more than 25 years in Mazzano Romano near Rome, Italy.

Course Level: These scholarships are available for writers, artists and artisans.

Study Subject: These scholarships are awarded in the field offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: These scholarships will cover the following:

• The scholarship includes a rent-free visiting period. From now on the Foundation does not cover travel costs anymore.

• Estonian writers, artists and artisans are eligible for the scholarships.
