To be eligible to present their research at the Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Recruitment Event, postdoctoral candidates must complete their PhD dissertation research between January 2012 and May 2013.

Scholarship Description: The Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Recruitment Event is a two-and-a-half-day event held at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The symposium introduces selected upper-level graduate students to postdoctoral opportunities at Vanderbilt Medical Center. This year’s Symposium will be held May 20-23, 2012. Prospective postdoctoral candidates will present their graduate research, meet with Vanderbilt faculty about postdoctoral opportunities, and network with current postdoctoral fellows. In addition, prospective fellows will tour Vanderbilt Medical Center campus and core facilities.
