Selection and eligibility will be based on the following criteria:
- Applicants must have applied for or been accepted into the Griffith Health Group Honours Program, Exercise Science specialty.
- Academic Merit (GPA of 5.5 or above).
-Personal Statement (250-word maximum).
- Resume (1 page only).
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residence Status

Scholarship Description: The objective of this Scholarship is to promote a relationship between Griffith University and elite female athletes/sporting groups in South-East Queensland. The aim is to recognise and reward a student that demonstrates excellence in their academic studies as well as a strong commitment to, and passion for, sport through non-playing and/or playing involvement. The Women in Sport Honours Scholarship is open to students who have enrolled and have been approved for entry into the Griffith Health Group Honours Program (Specialisation: Exercise Science) The Scholarship is valued at $3000 (paid in two instalments, $1500 per semester). Selection will be based on review and assessment of applications.
