Eligibility

- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for eligible undergraduate courses in mathematics offered by QUT.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have completed Year 12 (or a gap year) in 2024.
- Be starting university for the first time in 2025.
- Identify as female.
- Achieve a minimum unadjusted ATAR of 90.0 or above.
- Place QUT as their first preference on their QTAC application at the time of the main December and January admissions offer rounds.
- Receive a QUT offer for one of the following programs:
- MS01 Bachelor of Mathematics
- MS10 Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours)
- SE70 Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments/Bachelor of Mathematics
- SE30 Bachelor of Information Technology/Bachelor of Mathematics
- SE20 Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Mathematics.
How to Apply
No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible students who complete a QTAC application in line with QTAC key dates will be automatically considered based on academic performance and gender.
Benefits
- Bachelor of Mathematics degree: Scholarship valued at $15,000, paid over three years.
- Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) or eligible mathematics double degree: Scholarship valued at $20,000, paid over four years.
- Automatic membership in QUT’s College of Excellence.
Conditions:
- Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 5 each semester.
- Scholarships cannot be deferred.
- Recipients cannot hold any other scholarship, except an Equity Scholarship.
