American Red Cross is offering approximately 85 internship positions in almost every Red Cross line of business. Positions are open to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. The Red Cross offers both paid and non-paid summer internships. The paid intern salaries range from $10/hour – $20/hour depending on experience, major and educational level. Job postings will begin on December 7, 2015. -Available internship positions vary from year to year according to our needs. The program offers approximately 85 internship positions in almost every Red Cross line of business.
-Candidates may apply for as many paid and non-paid positions as they desire, however they must apply for a specific position to be considered.
-Internships are offered year round at our national headquarters office in D.C. and in Red Cross units around the country.
-Housing and relocation are not provided by the Red Cross.
-The Red Cross offers both paid and non-paid summer internships.
-The paid intern salaries range from $10/hour – $20/hour depending on experience, major and educational level.
-All persons accepting a paid position with the program are required to work 40 hours per week for the entire length of the ten-week summer program. Hours during the school year are flexible in consideration of classroom commitments.

Internship Description: The American Red Cross invites exceptional undergraduate and graduate students from many diverse backgrounds to join us in a variety of internship programs that introduce young leaders to the mission of the Red Cross. Our engaging internship programs give students real-world work experience by involving them in projects critical to the day-to-day work of our organization.

Internship Duration: Internship will run from June 6 through August 12, 2016. The summer program offers ten-week paid or unpaid internship opportunities at the Red Cross national headquarters office in Washington, D.C., as well as at more than 500 Red Cross units located across the U.S.
