Aston University Humanitarian Scholarships Scheme, UK

Aston University is proud to announce its new Humanitarian Scholarship Scheme for 2025! This full scholarship aims to support individuals displaced or affected by conflict, offering tuition coverage and living support for postgraduate study.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate significant need due to conflict or displacement, having been forced to leave their home country within the last three years or being at serious risk as a result of ongoing armed conflict.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: International applicants outside the UK and EU
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any taught postgraduate subject offered by Aston University
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be at serious risk due to armed conflict, or
  • Have been displaced or forced to leave their home country within the last three years due to armed conflict
  • Not be currently in the UK or EU
  • Have an offer to commence study in a Taught Postgraduate Programme (level 7) at Aston University starting in September 2025
  • Have never studied in the UK or EU at any level
  • Hold an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (obtained in the two years prior to entry).

Applications will open on 1st October 2024. The first round of applications closes on 31st January 2025. Applicants must have received an offer from Aston University and apply using the form available on the official scholarship page.
