Avondale University is pleased to announce the Avondale International Student Scholarship, designed to encourage and support international students enrolling in our diverse range of courses. This scholarship, worth $8500, will be distributed over two years to assist recipients in their educational journey. Eligible candidates must hold a student visa, study on campus, and meet specific academic and community engagement criteria.
The scholarship is open to new or returning international students who hold a student visa, study on campus, and are enrolled in an undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or outdoor leadership vocational education and training program.

- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a student visa
- Enrol in an undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or outdoor leadership vocational education and training course
- Study on campus
- Meet admission requirements as enrolled students in four units per semester (undergraduate course), two units per semester (postgraduate coursework course), or all applicable units of competency in tri-semester one (vocational education and training course)
- Complete the Avondale International Scholarship Application Form
- Explain why they want to study at Avondale
- Explain how they are serving their world for good
- Participate in a donor-recipient acknowledgment process initiated by Avondale
- Maintain an academic status of good standing (students enrolled in four units per semester must pass at least three)
- Maintain good standing in the community (scholarships may be revoked at the discretion of the Discipline Committee if the recipient brings the name of Avondale into disrepute).

Application Process: Applicants must submit the Avondale International Student Scholarship Application Form by January 31 for semester one or July 15 for semester two to [email protected].
Benefits
The scholarships are worth $8500. Each recipient receives $7000 ($3500 per semester) in their first year of study and $1500 ($750 per semester) in their second. Avondale will apply the money to each recipient’s general or tuition account.
