The F.R.S.-FNRS invites applications for the prestigious Baillet Latour Biomedical Award 2026. This award offers €1,000,000 over 5 years to early-career independent investigators of any nationality to conduct biomedical research in Belgium, specifically on “Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Systems”.
To be eligible for the Baillet Latour Biomedical Award 2026, applicants must be early-career independent investigators who have obtained their PhD no more than 12 years prior. Extensions are allowed for documented career breaks due to maternity/paternity leave, national service, long-term illness, or MD-PhD specialty training.

Benefits
