Australian Government Department of Social Services offers Aged Care Nursing Scholarships to support registered and enrolled nurses who work within the aged care sector to attend short courses, conferences or workshops. Curtin University offers scholarship for international, New Zealand and Australian students in mechanical engineering. Curtin University Reg Dowson Mining Geology Honours Scholarship in Australia
Curtin University offers Reg Dowson Mining scholarship in Applied Geology. The scholarship is provided at honours level that support for up to one year (based on a full time study load of 100 credits per semester). A total value of up to $3,000 paid as a cash stipend of $1,500 per semester. International students also can apply for this scholarship. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses. Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit. Application should be submitted till March 14, 2014.

Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme
Australian Government Department of Health offers Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme: Continuing Professional Development. It is a government initiative to support nurses and midwives undertaking continuing professional education activities, short courses or conferences. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives are encouraged to apply. Applications will open on 3rd March 2014. Maximum available funding is $1, 500. Funding is not available for activities conducted outside of Australia. Applicants must be an enrolled nurse, registered nurse or registered midwife with current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration.
