Skyline University College Becomes A Fully-Fledged University In Its 25th Year

In a recent announcement, the Skyline University College (SUC), one of the premier universities located in the Northern Emirates, revealed that it will become a fully-fledged University.

The occasion is marked by celebrations revolving around its 25th year since it began its journey in the field of mainstream education.

Since its inception, the SUC has been conducting courses and programmes in disciplines like marketing, HR, IT, Finance, management, education, travel and tourism etc.

The SUC is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and has made pioneering strides in the realm of education across the United Arab Emirates. This momentous occasion will be earmarked with yearlong celebrations that will go on till September of this year.

The SUC happens to be the first private college in Sharjah.

Currently, the SUC enjoys a vast presence, with students from across almost 50 countries and a 40 acre large campus in the University of Sharjah. The university boasts of more than 6000 alumni who have passed through its various courses and are well occupied in different corners of the globe.

One of the main highlights achieved by the institute includes agreements with leading colleges in countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan etc.

Under these agreements, students can go ahead to these countries for continued studies or courses. One of the strategic growth plans includes making inroads into secondary school education in the UAE as well as opening a campus in Nigeria, Africa. The university plans on focusing on emerging areas of study and business like public administration, e-Governance and retail marketing. The plans include specially designed and curated course programs with these subjects as the core focus area.

The yearlong celebration programme has a competition titled the SUC Corporate Cup competition, student carnival and fest as well as a series of CEO lectures. The celebrations aim to include current students with few alumni too. The SUC enjoys the distinction of being at the forefront of making Sharjah the hub of education on an international scale.

One of the key focus areas of the SUC includes, fostering a sense of values and a clear commitment towards giving back to the society.

The SUC aims to provide an international level of education, coupled with imparting the sense of community involvement amongst the students too. Each of its courses focuses on doing ethical business and involves community service initiatives led by students.
