The Victoria College, Texas, has simplified its application process for scholarships.
As per the new process, students can individually apply for situation specific scholarship opportunities. Earlier, there was one application available in their Pirate Portal through which students used to apply for a wide number of scholarships.
There are a number of scholarships available for the academic year 2015-16.
These are Victoria College Foundation Scholarships, Workforce and Continuing Education, VISD Dual Credit, Gonzales Center Scholarship, Calhoun County Center Scholarship, Victoria College Transfer student, and ‘What’s your Story?’ scholarship.
The easiest thing to do is once the candidate is accepted at the Victoria College, he/she can use his/her student ID to log into the Pirate Portal and start filling the application form. As the scholarships are authorized by the Victoria College Foundation, it can’t be transferred to any other institution.
