BMW Group Change Maker Fellowship in Germany

ESMT Berlin, in partnership with the BMW Group, invites talented young professionals in mathematics and technology to apply for the BMW Group Change Maker Fellowship. This initiative supports emerging leaders who aim to shape the digital future and create meaningful impact in global mobility and innovation.

The fellowship program is open to young professionals with a background in mathematics or technology-related fields such as computing, IT, automation, or digitalization. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Germany, India, Portugal, Romania, China, the USA, or South Africa; individuals with refugee status in Germany are also eligible.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Germany, India, Portugal, Romania, China, the USA, South Africa. Candidates with refugee status in Germany are also eligible.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the following programs:
  • Master in Global Management

  • Full-time MBA

  • Global Online MBA

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in mathematics or technology-related fields (e.g., computing, information technology, automation, digitalization), or be currently working in such fields.

  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of Germany, India, Portugal, Romania, China, the USA, or South Africa; refugee status holders in Germany are also eligible.

  • Be aged 30 or younger on September 1, 2025 (for applicants to the Master in Global Management and Full-time MBA programs).

  • Respond to the fellowship essay question: “The BMW Group seeks to actively shape the future of mobility; what aspect of a digital future fascinates you the most and why?”

During the application, candidates can indicate their interest in the BMW Group Change Maker Fellowship and complete the required essay question.
