Bocconi Graduate Scholarships for International Students in Italy, 2017-2018

Bocconi University is pleased to offer range of scholarships to students of high academic ability for 2017 entry. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to undertake masters degree program at the university.

The University aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships specifically for International students. Bocconi University is committed to making higher education accessible to students from  all backgrounds worldwide.

University of Bocconi, founded in 1902, was the first Italian university to grant a degree in economics. University of Bocconi believes that excellence can only be based on a person’s academic profile as well as on his or her values and cultural and ethical background. This is why the University offers numerous activities, special occasions for people to enrich their knowledge.


According to Italian regulations regarding access to university studies, students are required to have an adequate knowledge of the Italian language as it is the usual language of instruction. If your study program or course is taught in English, you will be required to prove your level of command of English by presenting the results you received at English courses. Please, always check with your university whether your English studies are sufficient for you to meet this requirement.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master degree at Bocconi University in Italy.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded for Master of Science Program at Bocconi University.

Scholarship Award: The Bocconi Scholarship for International Students includes a full tuition waiver, worth up to € 12,700 per year.

Scholarship can be taken at Italy

Eligibility: Applicants for the first 5 “international” sessions, who are neither a resident or citizen of Italy nor have earned an Italian Undergraduate degree in Italy or abroad, will have the opportunity to apply for the Bocconi Scholarship.

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a non-Italian High School Diploma degree/ Undergraduate degree earned abroad or in Italy.

English Language Requirement:


  • Students wishing to participate in one of the International Relations Office Programs must satisfy specific language requirements.
  • Language requirements vary from program to program.
    Please be sure to read all language requirements for EACH individual program (Exchange, Double Degree, International Internship, Campus Abroad etc.) to which you are interested in applying.
  • If a student does not hold one of the accepted International Language certificates or has not passed and registered the Bocconi language exam (with the minimum grade required), an ad hoc test will be organized by the International Relations Office.
  • In general, you do not need to take the ad hoc International Relations test if you hold one of the following:
    1. An English and/or second language International Certificate recognized by our Language Center at the level requested by your program of interest.
      When checking the validity of an International Certificate in order to apply to an International Program, you should just check the level and the score –voto in trentesimi as related to each International Certificate in the Score Conversion Table.
      The Validità Certificazione column should not be considered.
    2. The requested English and/or second language level registered into your Bocconi Study Plan
    3. A copy of Bachelor or high school degree, proving that the program was taught entirely in English.

Graduate Scholarships


How to Apply: The application must be submitted online by the same date as the online admission’s application. Candidates interested in submitting the application will be able to access the online form using the same username and password used to complete the online application for the admission in Bocconi; and only after the online application for the admission in Bocconi has been completed.

  • 2nd round: January 26th, 2017
  • 3rd round: February 28th, 2017
  • 4th round: March 22nd, 2017
