Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All countries
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Achieve a minimum 2:1 or equivalent internationally recognized undergraduate degree.
- Have an offer to study one of the postgraduate taught courses starting in September 2024.
- Be classed as an Overseas fee-paying student based on UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored).
- Pay the £5,000 course deposit by 31st August 2024.
- Meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel University London.
Not Eligible:
- Applicants not classed as Overseas for fees purposes.
- Applicants not fully self-funded or sponsored by a Government or external body.
- Postgraduate Research applicants (e.g., PhD, MPhil).
- Applicants not commencing their course in September 2024.
- Applicants entering a course with Brunel Pathway College or progressing from a BPC course.
- Applicants holding offers to study by Distance Learning or part-time.
- Applicants who have previously studied with Brunel University London.
How to Apply
Application Process: There is no separate application for this scholarship. Applicants will be automatically considered when they meet the academic criteria, pay the deposit, and funds are received by Brunel by 31st August 2024. The Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award offers a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for self-funded international students across postgraduate taught courses at Brunel University London. This scholarship aims to reward exceptional students with excellent academic records and a passion for creating positive change in their communities.
Award holders may be required to represent Brunel as ambassadors and participate in various activities to promote the University. The fee reduction will be applied to the first year of study only, provided all conditions are met by the start of the academic year in September 2024.
