University of Edinburgh offers five CMVM Online Distance Learning Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic session. Applicants of developing Commonwealth countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This is awarded to undertake postgraduate degree program.

Eligibility: The scholarship is awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. To be eligible to apply:
-Applicants who have already commenced their programme of study will not be considered. Applicants who already hold a postgraduate qualification will not be considered.
-The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.
Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of and resident in one of the following developing Commonwealth countries.

College Admission Requirement: The entry requirements are a UK 2:1 honours degree or its international equivalent (link is external) in computer science, physics, informatics, mathematics, engineering or chemistry and experience in computer programming. Applicants who have equivalent work experience may also be considered.
English Language Requirements: All students of every nationality are required to prove their English language competence. Even native-speakers of English must demonstrate that they meet our minimum language requirements to gain entry to the University. University accept all of the English language qualifications for entry to the University, including IELTS qualifications from any IELTS test centre. Applicants who require an IELTS test as part of an application for degree-level studies may take this test at any IELTS centre.
Supporting Material: -In order to be considered for the programmes, you are required to send the completed application form, two references, copies of degree transcripts, degree certificate and English Language qualification.
-Applicants should supply as many supporting documents as possible. However, if you have not yet received your English language qualification or final results from your academic institution, you can still apply and send these documents at a later date. Please note that your place will not be secured until you provide all the supporting documents required.
