Colgate Accommodation Scholarship in Australia

The Colgate Accommodation Scholarship is available to students commencing their first year of the Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University’s Orange campus. Eligible applicants must be studying on campus or in a mixed mode (online and on campus) and come from rural, remote, or Indigenous backgrounds.

To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must be commencing their first year of the Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University, studying either on campus or in a mixed mode. The scholarship is open to rural, remote, and Indigenous students, and applicants must have a home origin address with a Regional Rating of RA2-RA5.

Applicants must apply online through the Charles Sturt University Foundation Trust portal. A thank-you letter to the donor is required upon receiving the scholarship.

You can apply for multiple scholarships but each scholarship will require a separate application.

Step 2: Complete your scholarship profile

If you are new to Charles Sturt University, before you begin, completed your scholarship profile.  This will make applying for multiple scholarships much more efficient as certain fields prepopulate your applications.

Step 3: Prepare your supporting documentation

In most cases, you’ll need to supply supporting documentation with your  scholarship application.

Check eligibility requirements for details of specific documentation.

Before you submit your application you must have your documentation attached.  This can include;

  • Financial documentation such as a Centrelink income statement or your last 3 payslips
  • Up to date resume
  • An essay, research project proposal or reference letters may be requested
  • If your selection criteria involves Local Government Areas (LGA), please supply ONE of the following:
    • electricity bill
    • phone bill
    • rates notice
    • school record
  • Copies will need to be attached to your online application and provided in PDF or DOC format.
  • Failure to submit documentation will influence the assessment and suitability to receive the scholarship.

Step 4: Understand the deadlines

  1. Pay close attention to scholarship application closing deadlines. Applications submitted past the deadline are not considered.
  2. Always proof read your answers to the questions and ensure you answer each specific question for the purpose of the scholarship.
