Computing Education Conference Travel Awards in Canada

Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Computer Science is pleased to announce the Computing Education Conference Travel Awards for 2026. This award provides up to $3,000 to support graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members in attendin  g leading computing education conferences such as SIGCSE, ITiCSE, ICER, and CompEd. Funding covers conference registration, accommodation, and travel expenses, including online participation options.

The award is open to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty (teaching or research stream) affiliated with Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Computer Science. Applicants must submit a statement of interest and a brief biography, with preference given to those presenting papers or posters at a computing education conference.

    • Be graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, or faculty members of the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University.

    • Submit a one-page statement of interest outlining motivation and alignment with academic or professional goals.

    • Provide a short biography highlighting qualifications and experience in computing education.

    • Preference will be given to applicants who have submitted papers or posters to the conference.
