Congress Participation Grant is now open to international outstanding applicants for the academic session 2025/2026.

The Congress Participation Grant is open to PhD students under the age of 35 who are currently enrolled at a recognized academic institution. Applicants must be actively conducting research in the field of biomaterials and wound healing and must submit an abstract (oral or poster) as the first author under one of the congress topics.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to PhD students involved in research related to biomaterials and wound healing.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Be enrolled as a PhD student at a recognized academic institution.

  • Be under the age of 35 as of September 2, 2025.

  • Exception: An extension of up to 18 months per child may apply for maternity-related delays.

  • Submit an abstract (oral or poster) relevant to the congress themes.

  • Provide all required documentation, including proof of PhD status, CV, letter of recommendation, and proof of age.

How to Apply

  • Applications must be submitted via the official Congress website.

  • Applicants must submit an abstract as the first author under one of the congress topics.

  • During registration, upload a single PDF file containing the following:

    • Proof of PhD student status (valid student ID or official university letter)

    • Curriculum Vitae

    • Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s supervisor (max. 300 words, with signature and contact details)

    • Proof of age (national ID or passport)

    • Additional documents for applicants over 35 with special circumstances

Selected applicants will receive the following financial support:

  • Registration Fee: Fully covered

  • Accommodation: Up to 500 EUR

  • Travel Expenses:

    • Up to 800 EUR for international applicants

    • Up to 250 EUR for national applicants
