Copernicus Berlin is excited to announce its International Excellence Scholarship Programme for students from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. This prestigious scholarship offers an opportunity to spend a semester at top universities in Berlin, providing financial support, cultural experiences, and valuable internships.

Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD programme at a higher education institution and must have above-average academic grades. The scholarship is open to students from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Eligible countries include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Benefits

  • Full Scholarship: Covers monthly pocket money, health insurance, accommodation, enrolment fees, liability insurance, educational trips, social events, and cultural activities.
  • Partial Scholarship PLUS: Similar to the full scholarship but requires participants to cover their own travel and health insurance costs.
  • Partial Scholarship: Covers all costs except for 2 months of accommodation (1,650 EUR), travel, and health insurance, which must be paid by the participants.
