COSPAR is now accepting applications for its PCB Fellowship! If you’ve attended a COSPAR Capacity-Building Workshop and are from a developing country, this is your chance to advance your research through an international collaboration. The fellowship covers travel and accommodation costs for visits lasting 2-6 weeks.
To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be young scientists from developing countries who have participated in a COSPAR Capacity-Building Workshop. They must submit a joint research proposal with an identified scientist or laboratory that will host them for the fellowship. Additionally, applicants must provide letters of support from both their home institute and the receiving scientist, and demonstrate a commitment to continuing research in the topics covered by the workshop.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: Open to scientists from developing countries who have participated in a COSPAR Capacity-Building Workshop.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship can be pursued in research topics related to the areas covered in COSPAR Capacity-Building Workshops.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have participated in one of the COSPAR Capacity-Building Workshops.
- Submit a joint research proposal with an identified scientist or laboratory that will host them for the fellowship.
- Provide letters of support from both the applicant’s home institute and the host scientist or institute.
- Be committed to continuing research in the topics covered by the COSPAR workshops.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit the following:
- Completed application form (available in Adobe Acrobat Reader or text version).
- Letter of support from the applicant’s home institute.
- Letter of acceptance from the receiving scientist or institution.
- A detailed research proposal (less than 4000 characters).
- Estimate of total visit costs and requested COSPAR funding.
