The University of Queensland is pleased to announce the Crawford Family Scholarship, part of the Medical Student Financial Aid Scholarships Scheme. This scholarship aims to support Doctor of Medicine students facing financial hardship, especially those from Regional, Rural, or Remote Areas.

Eligibility

- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the Health and Medicine department at UQ.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Medicine.
- Can demonstrate financial hardship.
- Do not hold another scholarship the Dean considers similar.
- Are from a Regional, Rural, or Remote Area.

Complete the online application form in Student Hub (student login required). You’ll need to provide a personal statement (of no more than 250 words) outlining:
- Your background and circumstances.
- Your financial need.
- Your attempts to mitigate or overcome your difficulties.
Benefits
This scholarship is part of the Medical Student Financial Aid Scholarships Scheme. The selected recipient will receive at least $4,500 for one year to support their studies.
