CSIRO is excited to offer a Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2D Materials for Quantum Emitters. This prestigious position, based in Sydney, NSW, provides an excellent opportunity for early career researchers holding a PhD in Physics, Quantum Engineering, or Nanotechnology. The fellowship, with a salary of AU$96k – AU$105k plus superannuation, focuses on advancing quantum technologies and developing new quantum emitters using 2D materials.

Applicants must have a PhD (or be near completion) in Physics, Quantum Engineering, or Nanotechnology, with no more than three years of postdoctoral research experience. They should have expertise in nanofabrication techniques and optical characterization of Single Photon Emitters, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. The position is open to Australian/New Zealand citizens, Australian Permanent Residents, and international candidates able to obtain a valid working visa.
