The Degree Completion Scholarships at RWTH Aachen University, funded by DAAD and the German Federal Foreign Office, are open to international students in their final study phase.   • Must not hold German citizenship.

  • Must remain in Germany during the entire funding period (no study abroad or internships abroad allowed).

  • Must not be receiving any other scholarships during the funding period.

  • Must be in the final phase of their studies and expected to complete the degree within 12 months from the start of funding.

  • Must be currently experiencing financial hardship.

  • Studies must continue at least through December 2026.
