Eligibility

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for doctoral research in Computer Science, specifically focused on program analysis and software security.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Hold a second-cycle qualification (Master’s degree) or equivalent in a relevant field.

    • Have at least 60 advanced-level credits relevant to the research topic, or an MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT, Engineering Physics, or Engineering Mathematics.

    • Show knowledge in at least one of:

      • Compiler construction

      • Foundations of static program analysis

      • Foundations of dynamic program analysis

    • Demonstrate strong programming skills and very good proficiency in English (written and spoken).

    • Be able to work independently and solve research problems.

  • Other qualifications considered as merits include: experience in Java programming, vulnerability analysis, functional/declarative programming, discrete mathematics, and statistical/machine learning methods.
