Eligible Countries: Applicants must be based at ACU member universities in Commonwealth countries.

Acceptable Course or Subjects: The grant supports participation in conferences relevant to any academic subject.

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

Be an early career academic/researcher at an ACU member university.

Be within 7 years of starting their academic (research/teaching) career, excluding career breaks.

Identify a conference that they would like to attend in a Commonwealth country taking place between February 2026 to January 2027.

Be presenting a paper, poster, or chairing a session at the conference.

Not have previously travelled for work purposes (including conferences) outside their region of employment since starting their academic career.

Not have previously received an ACU Early Career Conference Grant.
