Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Be a new, international (non-EU) fee-paying student enrolling on a full-time taught masters degree in the Department of Physics for September 2026 entry.
  • Be self-funded. Students  who receive full sponsorship, for example from a government office or embassy are not eligible to receive this scholarship.

How to Apply

All new postgraduate taught masters students who register for a masters degree in the Department of Physics in September 2026 and who meet the eligibility criteria will receive the scholarship.

Benefits

Recipients of the Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship for Physics will receive a financial award of £7,000 towards their tuition fees, assisting them in their academic pursuits during the 2025/2026 academic year.
