Fonterra Pacific Undergraduate Scholarship in New Zealand

Massey University, in partnership with Fonterra, is proud to announce the Fonterra Pacific Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship is designed for first-year Pacific students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate science or technology degree at Massey University.

To be eligible, applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Pacific heritage, enrolled full-time in an undergraduate science or technology degree at Massey University. Candidates should demonstrate good character, active community engagement, and a commitment to supporting Pacific students in STEM as role models.

  • Be a first-year Pacific student enrolled in a full-time undergraduate science or technology degree at Massey University
  • Demonstrate good character and active community engagement
  • Commit to supporting Pacific students in STEM as a role model.

In order to apply for this funding program, applicants must take admission in undergraduate degree at the university.

  1. Submit a statement on how this scholarship will help you complete your studies at Massey University.
  2. Provide a character reference supporting your participation in community service and commitment to community engagement (e.g., church, sports, or local community).
  3. Include transcripts of your secondary school results. If studying NCEA, attach your School Results Summary from the NZQA website.

Benefits

The Fonterra Pacific Undergraduate Scholarship offers a total value of up to $65,000 for the duration of four years. This includes a stipend of $5,000 per annum and a paid summer internship each year valued at approximately $11,000. Additionally, recipients will receive specialised mentorship from both Massey University’s Office of Pacific Success and Fonterra.
