Eligibility

    Acceptable Course or Subjects: The studentship will be awarded for the Management Studies – PhD programme under the research theme of Rethinking IP and Entrepreneurship, covering areas such as:
  • Intellectual property strategy

  • Entrepreneurship and SMEs

  • Creative industries and innovation

  • Business model development

  • International business and econometric IP studies

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Hold a UK Master’s degree (or international equivalent) in business and management, preferably at merit or distinction level.
    • Demonstrate strong interest in one or both proposed project areas or propose a related topic within the overarching theme.
    • Provide a two-page research interest statement engaging with key themes and literature.
    • Submit all required documents, including transcripts, CV, personal statement, and references.
    • Meet English language requirements (international applicants).
    • Be available to start the PhD in January 2026.
