Eligibility

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is available to students enrolled in any degree program at Leipzig University.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Be an international student at Leipzig University with residency status under §16 AufenthG.
  • Undertake an internship in Saxony between October and December 2024 (minimum 4 weeks). The internship may extend beyond this period.
  • Be fully enrolled and not on semester leave.
  • Maintain (very) good academic grades.
  • Ensure that the internship company provides a minimum remuneration of €150 per month.

How to Apply

Required Documents:

  • Current Enrollment Certificate
  • Internship Contract: Must include start and end dates, work location, and remuneration details. If remuneration is not stated in the contract, a written confirmation from the company is required.
  • German Language Certificate (minimum A1 level)
  • Transcript of Records: Obtainable from the examination office or AlmaWeb (if grades are fully recorded).
  • Copy of Passport and Residence Permit
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV): Tabular format, maximum two pages.
