Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship will be awarded in plant biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, bio-engineering, or related disciplines relevant to ACC metabolism and plant hormone physiology.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a thesis-based PhD (obtained within the last 6 years) in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, or applied biological sciences.

  • Demonstrate excellent research skills in molecular physiology or plant hormone biochemistry, evidenced by first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Have experience with molecular and genetic techniques, including GoldenGate/GoldenBraid cloning, Q-RT-PCR, and CRISPR-Cas.

  • Knowledge of in silico docking analysis, AlphaFold3, and affinity proteomics is an asset.

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).

  • Experience mentoring students or conducting research abroad is considered advantageous.
