International PhD Fellowship in EU/EEA Law, Norway

The University of Stavanger is pleased to announce a PhD Fellowship in EU/EEA Law at the School of Business and Law, Department of Accounting and Law. This scholarship aims to support promising researchers by offering them the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and contribute to the field of EU/EEA Law through independent research. The fellowship includes a comprehensive PhD education, participation in national and international research environments, and a competitive salary.

To be eligible for this fellowship, applicants must have a strong academic background with a completed five-year master’s degree in law, preferably from a Norwegian institution or equivalent from Iceland or Liechtenstein.   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university within the field of EU/EEA Law.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
    • Completed a five-year master’s degree (3+2) in law from a Norwegian law school or a law education at the master’s level from Iceland or Liechtenstein, or possess equivalent qualifications.
    • Both the grade for the master’s thesis and the weighted average grade of the master’s degree must be equivalent to or better than a B grade.
    • Fluency in English and one of the languages of EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein).
