Admissible Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a master’s degree in environmental engineering, bioscience engineering, chemical engineering, environmental science, environmental technology, or equivalent (students graduating in 2023-2024 can also apply).
- Have an interest in scientific research, with a critical and analytical attitude.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.
- Possess good organizational, managerial, writing, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and an interest in involving multiple stakeholders.
- Have a strong conceptual understanding of sustainability topics such as a circular economy or a low-carbon society.
- Master the English language, both written and orally, in an academic context.
- Experience with quantitative research is essential.
- Additional plus points include experience with LCA software, circularity indicators, sustainability assessments of thermal comfort and/or transport, development of value chain scenarios, demand-side measures, policy-directed research, programming languages (e.g., Python), and environmentally extended input-output models.
