African Leadership Academy (ALA) is delighted to offer MBA Summer Internship starting from June 2018 onwards. ALA seeks to become training ground for these future leaders and draws the most outstanding students from all 54 countries in Africa to its campus in South Africa. This is a paid internship programme.

African Leadership Academy seeks to transform Africa by developing a powerful network of over 6,000 leaders who will work together to address Africa’s greatest challenges, achieve extraordinary social impact, and accelerate the continent’s growth trajectory.

Field of Internship: ALA’s Summer Internship is a residential program at ALA’s campus in Johannesburg, South Africa held between June and September each year. Our summer internships provide MBA students a unique opportunity to gain exposure to professional experience, training, and mentorship in the African context.

Internship Description: African Leadership Academy (ALA) seeks to transform Africa by developing thousands of leaders for the continent over the next few decades. The Academy is founded on the philosophy that a new generation of ethical, committed leaders is the key to Africa’s development. ALA seeks to become training ground for these future leaders and draws the most outstanding students from all 54 countries in Africa to its campus in South Africa. Here, they build a powerful intellectual foundation and develop their leadership capacity through ALA’s unique curriculum in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Our unique curriculum seeks to empower every young leader with the skills necessary to lead on the African continent in the 21st century.

Internship Duration: The MBA interns work on ‘Strategic Initiatives’ projects over 4?8 weeks in various departments at ALA such as Finance, Admissions, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Global Programs, Academics and Marketing to name a few.
