Forest Foundation Undergraduate Summer Internship Program In USA, 2016

Forest Foundation is offering undergraduate summer internship program in USA. It offers up to 45 paid summer internships for undergraduates. Compensation of $4,500 less any tax deductions will be awarded to the applicants. Applicants must be an enrolled undergraduate college student or graduating in May 2016. High school to college gap year students may also apply. Internship application deadline is March 1, 2016.

Eligibility: -Applicants are an enrolled undergraduate college student or graduating May 2016. High school to college gap year students may also apply.
-Applicants are passionate about and have past experience in the non-profit sector and community service.
-Applicantsseek to develop your leadership skills through meaningful work and experiences at a non-profit agency.
-Applicants are able to work full time (40 hours/week) for 10 weeks during the summer in Greater Boston.

Internship Open for International Students: Forest Foundation summer internship program is only for college students enrolled in the United States.

Is this paid internship? Yes, compensation of $4,500 less any tax deductions will be awarded. Forest Foundation grants this money to the host non-profit which in turn pays the interns. Interns are considered employees of their host agency

Internship Description: Forest Foundation believes in fostering the next generation of public service leaders by investing in them through a comprehensive summer experience at a non-profit organization. The Forest Foundation Undergraduate Summer Internship Program can be a multi-year, co-curricular experience.  We accept applicants regardless of disability, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexual preference.

Number of awards offered: Forest Foundation supports 45 paid summer internships at exceptional non-profit organizations in Greater Boston.

Internship Duration: The internship duration is 10 Weeks at 40 hours per week May 31 – August 5, 2016

Notification: Students notified of forest foundation acceptance on March 16.

How to Apply:  Once offers are made, confirmation of acceptance by signed contract must be received by March 30, 2016 via email to David Sullivanatforestfoundationinterns-at-gmail.com. Acceptance of an offer is also a commitment to attend and participate in internship related events.

Internship Application Deadline: Internship application deadline is March 1.
