Applications are invited for UN City Business Administrative Internship starting from January 29, 2019. This internship is a full time unpaid internship programme which is open for international students.
The objective of the internship is to give you a first-hand impression of the day-to-day working environment of the United Nations. You will be given a real chance to work with our people. Initially you will take on the amount of responsibility you can shoulder; the potential for growth, however, is yours to develop.
Field of Internship: Under the guidance of the Common Services Manager and the direct supervision of the Admin Specialist, the intern will assist with various administrative tasks, provide daily support to the unit in different areas and provide client-oriented services.

Eligibility: You must meet one of the following requirements:
- You are currently in the final year of your Bachelor’s degree; or
- You are currently enrolled in a Master’s degree; or
- You have graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a master’s degree or equivalent studies in the field of international business, finance, administration, development, social sciences or equivalent;
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge in Danish is an advantage;
- Knowledge and a proficient user of Microsoft Office productivity tools

Is this paid internship? UNDP internship programme does not provide a salary or remuneration for the internship; however, you will gain valuable insight into UNDP and a global network; All the expenses connected with the internship will be borne by the intern, sponsoring Government or institution.
Internship Description: The UN City Common Services Unit provides operational support services to the UN agencies residing in the UN City premises, Marmorvej 51, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark. Under the guidance of the Common Services Manager and the direct supervision of the Admin Specialist, the intern will assist with various administrative tasks, provide daily support to the unit in different areas and provide client-oriented services.
