How to Apply

Applicants must first apply for a doctoral program at a LAHP partner institution and secure a supervisor. Afterward, submit the LAHP Open Studentship application through FlexiGrant by 5 PM (GMT) on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Steps:

  1. Develop a project proposal in consultation with your supervisor.
  2. Apply for a place at a partner HEI.
  3. Submit your application on FlexiGrant.
  4. Ensure your supervisor completes the supporting statement via the portal.

Benefits

Open awards are funded for up to three years full-time (or part-time equivalent), with the opportunity to apply for a funded extension based on research needs, after enrolment.
