The scholarship is open to both domestic and international applicants who have strong academic backgrounds and a keen interest in construction digitalization, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and LiDAR scanning technologies. Candidates should possess qualifications equivalent to an Australian First Class/Second Class Division I Bachelor (Honours) degree, a coursework Master’s degree with a research component, a Research Master’s degree, or extensive industry experience.

- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment at Western Sydney University.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold qualifications and experience equal to an Australian First Class/Second Class Division I Bachelor (Honours) degree, a coursework Master’s degree with at least a 25% research component, a Research Master’s degree, or equivalent overseas qualifications.
- Candidates with extensive industry experience may be considered even if they lack the above qualifications.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance in subjects relevant to construction or related domains.
- Have an understanding of the importance of digital construction technologies.
- Be willing to learn about construction digitalisation, Building Information Modeling (BIM), LiDAR scanning, and other related digital construction technologies.
- Be enthusiastic and highly motivated to undertake further study at an advanced level.

Benefits
- Domestic students will receive a tax-free stipend of $31,500 per annum to support living costs, supported by the Research Training Program (RTP) Fee Offset.
- International students will receive a tax-free stipend of $31,500 per annum to support living costs. Those with a strong track record will be eligible for a tuition fee waiver.
- All international students are required to hold an Overseas Student Health Care (OSHC) policy covering the duration of their studies in Australia.
- Support for conference attendance, fieldwork, and additional costs as approved by the School/Institute.
