The Rotary Club of Tokyo-West is excited to announce the Pacific Basin Group (PBG) Friendship Scholarship for the academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26. This $10,000 scholarship supports undergraduate students from Micronesia, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and Palau who are pursuing their degrees at the University of Guam.
The scholarship program is open to undergraduate students from the Federated States of Micronesia, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and Palau who are in the final 60 credit hours of their degree at the University of Guam or transferring from a 2-year college.

Eligibility

- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be in the last 60 credit hours of their undergraduate degree program at the University of Guam or transferring from a 2-year college to the University of Guam.
- Maintain full-time enrollment and academic progress toward a degree.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrate financial need, verified by the Financial Aid Office of the University of Guam.
- Not be a recipient of any other type of private or national scholarship.
- Immediate family members of Rotary Club members are ineligible.
- Applicants outside Guam must undergo an interview with the Rotary Club in their country, which will provide recommendations to the University of Guam Financial Aid Office.

Interested applicants must complete the application form and submit all required documents, including evidence of financial need and academic progress, to the University of Guam Financial Aid Office (c/o Private Scholarship Coordinators). Applicants outside Guam must obtain a recommendation from their local Rotary Club.
