PhD Fellowship in Computer Supported Cooperative Work, Denmark

To provide a funding source to international students undertaking their higher studies in Denmark, the University of Copenhagen has organized the PhD Fellowship in Computer Supported Cooperative Work for the academic year 2025-2026.

To be eligible for the regular PhD programme, you must have completed a degree programme, equivalent to a Danish master’s degree (180 ECTS/3 FTE BSc + 120 ECTS/2 FTE MSc) related to the subject area of the project.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects:
    The scholarship will be awarded in Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Human-Centered Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Hold a degree equivalent to a Danish master’s degree (MSc in a relevant field)

    • Demonstrate a strong interest and background in CSCW, DEI, accessibility, information infrastructures, or participatory design

    • Have experience in qualitative research methods and participatory workshops

    • Be motivated to collaborate within a diverse and interdisciplinary team

    • Possess good communication and language skills

    • Submit a motivated application addressing the project and collaboration expectations
