To be eligible for the PhD fellowship, applicants must hold (or expect to obtain by July 2025) a master’s degree in environmental engineering, bioscience engineering, chemical engineering, environmental technology, or a related field.

  • Have strong interest in scientific sustainability research

  • Be capable of working independently and in a multidisciplinary team

  • Demonstrate good writing, presentation, and communication skills

  • Have experience with quantitative research
    Additional assets include:

  • Familiarity with LCA software (e.g., SimaPro, openLCA)

  • Knowledge of circularity indicators or material flow analysis

  • Experience with sustainability assessments, demand-side measures, or policy research

  • Programming skills (e.g., Python)
